In this research, we propose a mechanism changing direction of a flapping flight. We considered its several methods:
angle of oscillation, angle of flapping position, dihedral angle,
tail setting angle, roll moment. The trajectory of the flapping plane which had diference of every parameter between
right and left wings was recorded by two video cameras and analyzed. And of the five parameters, the flapping plane changes a
flight direction in most proportion to roll moment. Therefore the flapping plane which can change the amount of roll
moment using shape memory alloy was produced and achived to change flight direction on the fly.
