Nano Probing System for Cell Injection

Recently, not only recording the neural activity, but also simultaneous measurement of ion concentration from a single cell is necessary for biological function analysis. We presented a nanoprobe with calcium ion measurement in a cell using fluorescence. We've improved the performance of the nanoprobe by coating the aluminum on the pipette. Our glass micropipette coated with aluminum can measure fluorescence from a smaller area. Using this nanoprobing system, the fluorescence response from a tissue was measured every 10 µm in depth.
